Not sure your thoughts, but I love to dress to impress when I visit New York. Especially, during the summer time, you can wear your comfy chic to your most badass outfit. So, I’m going to show you what I wore on my NYC trip in August!
Yes, the classic mirror selfie. My cousin is so gracious to let me stay with her when I visit and steal her mirror 😆 I’ll be linking everything to my LiketoKnow.it page so you can shop all of these looks! Sadly, my floral corset is out of stock on Windsor, but I’ve linked some super cute options!
My first fit was something edgy, but cute. So, naturally. I wore this cute sheer crop with my high waisted mom jeans and my Gucci booties. We went to a super cute restaurant for some drinks and dinner. You can read about that here in my Adventures in NYC post!
All of the looks can be found at the bottom! I’ve also paired up some other tops that I think would go well with this look.
This next look got SO many compliments on the street. It was flowy and so comfortable to walk around in, and I felt the most confident in this outfit. Just a simple satin button up with a belt and some rockin’ shoes. I swear, these black booties can go with almost everything and they are beyond adorable!
After some shopping and walking around, we went back to the apartment to relax before dinner. I love me some ramen, and NYC has some of the best. So, you can only imagine what we ate that night 😆
I was really feeling myself in this fit! I love corset tops, which is why I gave you so many choices below. If you can’t tell, ponies were my go-to hairstyle. It was a bit humid in NYC and I like to keep my hair off my neck to keep from sweating.
If you need the biggest advice for packing for a trip to New York, your best pair of jeans. My mom jeans are some of my fav and I highly recommend everyone getting one!
If you see the wedding dress, go check out my post on my trip to Kleinfeld! No, this is not my actual dress! That will be for a later day.
This outfit was so cute, I actually bought it in NYC. It was perfect for my consultation and it was so comfy and easy to slip on and off. The color matching was a perfect combo, as well.
The last look was for a comedy club. I actually got this velvet dress in NYC my first visit! So, I do wear this regularly. It’s so comfy and cute, and looks great for any occasion.
That’s all my looks for this trip! Be sure to check them out below and shop the looks on my LiketoKnow.it page!
