If you live in Texas, you know about Galveston. There’s a cute little town just right before the Galveston exit called Tiki Island. It’s the channels that run into the ocean and have cute beach houses on the edges.
My family and I took a weekend getaway trip to this fun place and just hung out. Tiki Island held a boat competition, which took place around the island! It was so cute and fun to watch and see how people decorated their boats.
Besides tanning in the pool and kicking back, I loved to fish with my grandfather or swing on the porch swing with my grandmother.
We ended up catching a blue crab! I couldn’t take a photo of it, because it decided to square up on me and try to fight. So I just admired from afar.

We really didn’t get out and tour the island, since COVID, but we did go to the boat show! I wore my yellow crochet romper with some cute strappy wedges.

If you get the chance to check out this cute little island, I definitely would! I plan to go back after COVID is over and get a chance to look around more!
