South Padre Recap

If you want to go on a girl’s trip, I highly suggest going to South Padre Island in Texas. A bit of a drive from where I’m at, but Texas has had so much rain recently; it was just nice to see the sun for once. We stayed for about 3 days in the northern part of South Padre Island (SPI).

Our hotel was right on the beach for just $120/person. Super clean, easy beach access, and right in the center of everything. So, our first day there, we decided to hit the beach for a couple of hours!

The next day was a day for the girls ♥️ we packed our coolers of Truly’s, fruit, and anything else we might need to hit the beach! Make sure you pack lots of sunscreen! The rays are pretty intense by the coast. My fav sunscreen is Sun Bum, which you can find here.

If you need some beach games to play, I suggest bringing a pair of dice! We played King’s Cup with the dice, since it was a bit windy. Another game we like to play is 7-11-doubles. Here’s a link so you can learn to play! Super easy and fun.

After a day of some sun, beach fun, and drinks, we went to a cute little bar and grill place right next to our hotel. Clayton’s Beach Bar & Grill is so delicious! The drinks were so yummy and my shrimp tacos had a nice flavor to them. The girls also got some tasty food, while we celebrated my roomie passing all of her CPA exams!

The bar even had a DJ come and play some great music throughout the night. If you like to dress up, I suggest this two piece set from SHEIN. I’ve also linked all my outfits below so you don’t have to search 🙂

Our last night, we decided to adventure out to one of the best tasting restaurants on the island, Sea Ranch. Ignore the many bags we have infront of our mirror, it was our stash of food we would take to the beach!

If you decide to take a trip to SPI, definitely go to Sea Ranch and try it out! I got their seafood pasta and was in heaven. The wine was perfectly paired with the pasta and it was the tastiest thing I had ever eaten. I love seafood, too. So if you like any seafood, this is the place to go.
