I hope you all had a wonderful V-day with your loved ones or just a relaxing day by yourself! Since it’s snowing in Texas, yes snowing, we decided to have our Valentine’s dinner inside. Why risk the icy roads when you can have a 5 star dinner at home?
Crab legs, lobster tails, broccoli, rice, and salad?! Yummy! If you’re wanting to know how I cooked our crab legs, I boiled them in slightly salted water for about 5 minutes.
For the lobster tails, I cut them open and placed the meat on top of the shells. I coated them in garlic butter and broiled them for about 6 minutes and it just melted in your mouth!
The roses were a sweet gift from my loving boyfriend. They even added a special touch to the setup of our dinner.
That handsome man in the middle was my wonderful photographer for the night and he couldn’t have done a better job. A little teaching was involved, but he picked up quick.
My “little black dress” is from Windsor and it is so cute! This open back dress is an absolute showstopper and can make anyone look amazing. My jacket is no longer in store, but I have found some alternatives, so no worries.
The earring/necklace combo is also from Windsor, which is linked at the bottom. Diamonds are indeed a girl’s best friend.
What better way to end the night than with a glass of wine and some chocolate covered strawberries? Which are my absolute favorite! If you ever need to know what to get a girl, more than likely chocolate covered strawberries are the best gift.
Make sure to check out my post about some V-day gifts for your significant other! ♥️
Safe travels, heles ♥️ xo
