For my fiance’s birthday, I took him on a trip to Fredericksburg for a weekend getaway. The Airbnb we stayed in was absolutely precious! It was a retro RV camper and honestly, I’ve been thinking about getting one now. 5 stars! There was even an outside shower, and before you think ‘ew’ it was a very upscaled bathroom.
For our first day there, we just hung around the RV and went to dinner in downtown. The town reminds me of the big city, but in a small town. Everyone walking around, enjoying themselves and cute little boutique shops to enjoy as well.
The next day, we did a full day of wine tours. I booked us a wine bus, which we shared with a few other parties, and it was so fun! We visited four different wineries in Fredericksburg, and got a glass and bottle of wine at each one.
If you’re looking for a fun girls trip or weekend getaway, Fredericksburg should be on your list. It’s full of wineries/distilleries/etc and great food!

The last day, on our way home, we took a detour and hiked up a mountain! Help detox our bodies from all the wine we had drank that weekend. While hiking straight up a mountain isn’t my strong suit, it was pretty fun to hang out on the top and relax together.
