This town may be the closest to my home with a beach, but it’s still such a fun time! The Strand is one of my fav shopping spots as well as some amazing seafood.
I love the art and fun of this little town, too. So I’m going to talk about some fun things to do, places to eat/drink, and some of my favs in general of Galveston.
I’m wearing my maxi dress from Nordstrom’s with some Kendra Scott earrings and a passion for adventure.

Papas Pizza
Definitely a go-to after a day of “too much fun” on the beach. The pizza is amazing and it’s styled as a buffet! So endless pizza, who doesn’t love that? Especially for $5-10!
Sonny’s Place
My fam has loved going here to this American styled restaurant. The food is not only good, but reasonable prices for the whole group. They even have pool tables for some enjoyment.
Pho Tai
Ok, but who doesn’t love pho (f-uh)? The seafood pho was to die for and the spring rolls were so delicious they melted in your mouth.
Waffle House
I’m not ashamed to say I love Waffle House. It’s been one of my fav breakfast places growing up and it tastes even better on the beach.

Mario’s Seawall Italian Restaurant
I’m a lover of all pastas, but Mario’s is soo good. But what’s even better? Their gelato! A yummy treat makes for a definite “go-to”
Blvd. Seafood
Anyone like poke? Then you’ll like Blvd. seafood. The tuna poke is out of this world as well as the crab cakes. I love seafood so this is heaven for me.
Nicks Kitchen and Sea Bar
Great place to sit and enjoy the beach view with some quality food. The fish tacos… oh. My. Gosh… so dang good!
Riondo’s Ristorante
This place is definitely a boujie hot spot. Great wine and apps for a fun day of shopping and even a happy hour after a day of the beach. They even have gluten free and vegan options!
Fisherman’s Warf
Enjoy a nice on the water dinner with some amazing food that will leave you saying “stick a fork in me, I’m done.” My all time fav place to go for dinner and wine. The seafood pasta is the best I’ve ever had!
Clubs & Bars
Tiki Bar
Not only does it help with the beach front view, but great beer selections and cocktails.
Old Quarter Acoustic Cafe
You don’t go for the food, but you will stay for the great music and wine/beer choices. Definitely a cute hole-in-the-wall spot for those adventurous.
Toulouse Bar
A must try for those looking to say they’ve drank at a historical landmark. This place has amazing drinks and is a chill spot to hang with friends.
Splash Bar
Fun for those who would like to stay in their swimmies for the swim up bar. Cute waterfront view and cheap/delicious drinks.
Patrick’s Bar
I’m an avid billiards lover, so that’s why this bar is one of my favs. As well as there being multiple TVs for sports and great selection of wines and local brewed beer.

Adventures
Beach
Easy and free, unless you buy an umbrella and set of chairs. I love the beach, even though the water isn’t crystal clear lol.
Pleasure Pier
Fun fact: my step-father proposed to my mom here. A fun little amusement park with some great dining options.
Port Bolivar Ferry
Ferry ride? Um… yes! Another fun free option to take you to Bolivar Peninsula for more fun times.
Tall Ship Elissa
This ship is easily seen from Fisherman’s Warf and looks much like a pirate ship. Just a fun and cute way for an Insta pic.
Bishop’s Palace
Definitely one of my gran’s fav places. This palace has stood through multiple hurricanes and is such a beautiful sight to see.
NOAA Fishery
Wanna see some cute baby sea turtles? Go on a turtle tour while interacting with the cool gadgets this place offers.
Moody Gardens
Honestly, this place is used for everything. Cheer comps, aquariums, green house, and more. Such a fun and gorg place to go experience.
That’s all for today, heles! Let me know your fav things in Galveston.
XOXO Ray
