Every year, my family likes to do a family trip somewhere. This year, we decided Destin, FL! We rented an airbnb close to the beach and stayed for about a week. 11 people, 3 story house, and 4 bathrooms. You can already tell it was going to make for a fun trip.
Our first night, we stayed with my aunt that lives close to our destination. We went to a super cute beach diner in Pensacola for some lunch before heading to our Airbnb. I had some fish tacos and they were super yummy! Sweet potato fries are also my weakness.
I also had to show off my (not known at the time) fiance and grandmother 🤍.
The next day was just a full beach day! It was also the day I was proposed to! So, it was the best day of the trip. During the day, we hung out at the beach, had some mojitos, jumped some waves, and caught some sun.

The next day, I couldn’t control my excitement. You know what’s funny? I even packed a white swimsuit! 😆 What a coincidence.
It was another beach day, with some more delicious food and good times. We did go and explore the town and did some shopping, as you should in a new town. I got myself a new bucket hat and T-shirt as my keepsake!
Here’s some pics of just around the town! A cute little souvenir shop we found and much more. We went to Margaritaville on the water, and it was such a fun time. I got some coconut shrimp and a couple cocktails to enjoy the day.
I love how everything in Florida is so bright and vibrant. The colors are usually pinks, blues, or even yellows! It just gives you such a fun atmosphere.
Every day was a beach day, with some sort of adventure sprinkled in! We found this uber cute donut/coffee shop. Their iced coffee was delicious and much needed after being out in the sun most of the day. There was even a fun bowling/arcade that we ran into! Every lane was decorated as a sea theme. It was so cute.
That was pretty much our trip in a nutshell! Fun shops, beach days, and fabulous food. Seafood is my favorite, and who better than Florida to serve up some good grilled shrimp?
