If you’re wanting a fancy afternoon tea, the Adolphus Hotel in Dallas is the perfect place to go! This place has been on my bucket list FOREVER, but you have to make reservations way in advance. A couple of my girl friends and I were lucky to go and had such a fun afternoon.
When you first walk in, it’s like you’re stepping into a palace. The tea room has a grand chandelier, a piano in the corner, and just the feel of royalty. Honestly, I felt like I was about to have tea with the queen of England.
This was our menu, and it just told you how the afternoon was going to go. Various finger foods and teas to go along with them! While you wait to get started, you get a glass of champagne. We got a bottle, which just so happens to be the Queen’s favorite champagne!
Our first course was delicious! Honestly, I could eat everything there over and over again. It was light, but filling. Finger sandwiches and some bruschetta with plum and balsamic dressing was our first experience. While I couldn’t tell you everything we had, it was all super yummy.
Then we had some various biscuits and jams! The one biscuit with lavender is wildly amazing! I tried each biscuit with the different jams, and I couldn’t tell you which one was better since it was all delicious. The desserts were just as tasty, but I was so full after the meals it was hard to finish.
It was such an experience, and I’m all about experiences while enjoying some food. 12/10 would recommend visiting at least once. Honestly, I wanted to even have my bridal shower here because it was so gorgeous! XOXO
