Maroon Out!

Game Day! Whoop! Another Fightin’ Texas Aggie win against Ole Miss. Of course, everyone wants to look they’re best for game day in hopes of getting on the Jumbo…. excuse me… JIMBOtron! Since I have some pretty smokin’ roomies, we did make it on the big screen a couple times.

For this game, it was not only an 11 AM game, but it was 45 degrees outside. Not only did we get up at 8 am to get ready for the game, but we each wore leggings underneath our jeans and jackets and even brought a blanket to the game for safe measure.

Since this game was going to be a cold one and it was our Maroon Out game, I decided to wear my maroon knit sweater. Maroon can be dressed as a cold color or you can make it pop, which is why I decided to wear my white jeans to help make the maroon stand out.

What’s an Aggie football game without your cowboy boots? Naturally, you have to wear them, which gives this outfit a fun and warm look. Was I wearing fuzzy socks with my boots? DUH! What color were they? Maroon, of course!

I love football games, but I do not love cold weather. But for the Aggies, I will stand outside for 3 hours to watch us Beat The Hell Outta the opposing team.

Accessories are very important for an outfit and to help make this look cute AND keep my ears warm, I went with my maroon beanie. That little ring of gold on my right finger is my Aggie ring that I worked so hard to get. This accessory goes with literally EVERYTHING and it is my favorite possession.

You can dress this look up with some maroon or white earrings, which I would usually do, but my dad gave me some James Avery A&M earrings. Kendra Scott and James Avery are probably my two favorite places to get jewelry, because the quality is amazing and I’ve never been disappointed with them.

Of course this post wouldn’t be complete without my roomies. Even though we had some cinnamon toast, coffee, and mimosas, we still BTHO (beat the hell outta) waking up at 8 AM and standing in the cold. Not only do these girls watch Grey’s with me until 2 AM on school nights, but they are also pretty great photographers! XD

So for the upcoming winter times, maroon is a classy and perfect color to wear anywhere and goes perfectly with cowboy boots and some poppin’ jeans. You can never go wrong with maroon and that little Aggie gold. ♡
