Ah, turkey day. Where family comes together to feast and laugh about old memories and tries to pick out the best outfit for the living room. For this Thanksgiving, I was able to spend it with my brother and his wife in Arizona.
So not only do I get a little vacation out of this trip, but I also get to see my family as well. My outfit was inspired by the warm weather of Phoenix, but there is a crisp breeze outside. I love my black long-sleeve crop top, because it can be worn any time of the year. If it’s hot, dress it up with some shorts. If it’s cold, dress it up with some high waisted jeans and boots.
Of course, I have to rep some maroon for my school. This suede maroon skirt is not only comfortable, but super cute and goes with any and everything. A skirt can be dressed up or down, depending on what your goal is.
I wanted a cute chic look for this outfit and I think the skirt with the hiking boots achieve that look. These Charlotte Russe boots are not only affordable, but cute and stylish with so many outfits. The lace up boots are about $30 and have lasted me for years.
Watches can always make an outfit more classic and this watch is a simplistic, yet glam watch. I love the diamonds around the face and the accented blue stones in the middle of the face. For this outfit, I chose my white watch from Target, but you could use a maroon watch or gold.
My other accessories include my maroon Kendra Scott earrings and of course, my Aggie ring. Kendra Scott is super fun to wear with outfits, because they are colorful and cost efficient.
Hair is very important for any outfit, because it can make or break the entire ensemble. I love bandanas, so I decided to pull my hair into a high half up-half down updo, with a white bandana wrapped around my head to hide the ponytail holder.
I hope you guys have a great Thanksgiving and enjoy this time with your family!
